NG turns 6!
Twenty Nine
So I went a bit overboard. How could I not when my Fav went to our favorite book store (the Library) and asked for the name of the books I was interested in. Initially I told him of the two I had in mind to read,
Vicious Cycle by Terri Blackstock, and The Bone House by Stephen Lawhead
and my Fav, being the wonderful friend that he is to me, looked up other books by the authors, compiled a list of the ones he thought I’d be interested in, and emailed it to me. So one, I am so amazed by his thoughtfulness, and two, by the fact that he really knows me pretty well.
However since he was there and awaiting a response, I simply HAD to review his list, and add a couple more titles and authors.
2 weeks, 3 trips, and 29 books later, we have one VERY exhausted-thrilled-to-the-toes chicka, and a Fav with more peanut butter brownie points than he can handle. Happy end of the summer reading!

We Are Back!
We are back and gearing up and getting it in! I will be posting images and video from our anniversary trip bit by bit. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Now to recover from it! LOL!
Welcome GJ IV!
I am so excited I get to announce (well RE-announce) the arrival of G. IV, that I am taking a mini break from our vacation to post this! And his cuteness is truly a force to be reckoned with.
With his adoring family to support him, a lifetime of success is sure to be on its way.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs J!
Congratulations Mr. And Mrs G!
I am so awesomely, gratefully humbled, to have had the opportunity to be a part of the union of this young couple. That I would be invited to document their special day STILL has me grinning!
May you continually bask in the joy of your union. May generations of blessings be showered down on you. May you prosper in your dreams and visions. May your family flourish. And may you always find a smile in each others eyes!
Congratulations!
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. A
Research…
Ok so the more I read, the less comfort I feel. Oh my goodness. The giant green caterpillars are actually Horn Worms which do actually become giant moths that lay eggs at night. The worms devour green fruit and plants, mostly tomatoes but also peppers etc. Their natural predators are wasps! Goodness! I think I am going to be abandoning my garden for the rest of this year… There are some things I just can’t handle…
It Almost ATE Me!
Ok so I am exaggerating. Slightly. I went out to do my daily check up on my garden
(yes I still do that), only to find this!
The tops of one of my beautiful, bounty full tomato bushes has been gnawed off! Could it be a bird, my Fav thought maybe a cat, a gopher couldn’t get so high, and as I was perusing the area I spot it!
A GIGANTIC caterpillar like creature! it was so close it could have bitten my finger off! And apparently they are breeding in my garden because when I looked down there were TWO MORE!
These mini monsters are attacking my food supply. Time to do some research.
